Fynn AI uses your resume, interview responses, and related content solely to provide personalized interview coaching, feedback, recommendations, readiness scoring, and product improvements. You retain ownership of your uploaded content, and you may request permanent deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

- The Fynn AI mobile and web application, including all features, content, and interview coaching tools.
- "User", "you"
- Any individual who creates an account or otherwise uses the Service.
- "Content"
- Any information you submit, including resumes, interview responses, voice recordings, transcripts, and profile information.
- "We", "us", "Fynn AI"
- Fynn AI, the operator of the Service.
02 — CollectionInformation We Collect.
We collect only the information we need to provide a useful, personalized interview coaching experience. The categories below describe what we collect and why.
03 — AccountsAccount Information.
When you create a Fynn AI account, we collect your name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), and optional profile details such as your target role, industry, and experience level.
This information identifies your account, personalizes your coaching, and lets you sign in across devices.
04 — ResumesResume Uploads.
You may upload your resume so Finn can tailor questions, surface relevant experience, and generate role-specific feedback. We store the original file and a parsed structured representation (work history, education, skills).
Uploaded resumes are never sold, never shared with recruiters, and never used to train third-party models. You own your resume content.
05 — ResponsesInterview Responses.
When you answer a mock interview question — by typing, speaking, or recording — we store that response, link it to the session, and use it to generate your scores, evidence, and coaching feedback.
06 — RecordingsInterview Recordings.
If you choose to use voice or video practice, we record the session locally on your device and process audio for transcription and analysis. Recordings are stored encrypted at rest and tied only to your account.
You can delete any recording at any time from your session history.
07 — VoiceVoice Conversations.
Real-time conversations with Finn (our AI coach) are streamed to a speech model to generate responses. Audio segments are processed in memory for the duration of the conversation and are not retained beyond what is needed to generate your transcript and coaching feedback.
08 — TranscriptsTranscripts.
Every voice session produces a text transcript so you can review what you said, see the evidence behind your scores, and revisit coaching. Transcripts are stored alongside the session and follow the same deletion controls.
09 — AnalyticsUsage Analytics.
We collect anonymized product analytics — feature usage, session counts, screen flow, and crash reports — to understand how Fynn AI is used and where it can improve. Analytics events are aggregated and contain no resume or transcript content.
10 — DeviceDevice Information.
We collect basic device information needed for the Service to function correctly: device model, operating system version, app version, locale, time zone, and IP address. We do not collect contacts, photos, location, or other sensitive device data unless you explicitly enable a feature that requires it.
11 — AuthAuthentication Data.
If you sign in with Apple, Google, or another OAuth provider, we receive a unique identifier and your verified email address. We do not receive your password from these providers.
13 — Third PartiesThird-Party Services.
We use a small set of carefully selected providers to run the Service:
- Cloud hosting — to store your data and run our services.
- Speech and language models — to power Finn's coaching and transcription. We have data-processing agreements that prohibit training on your content.
- Payment processing — to handle subscriptions, if you upgrade to a paid plan.
- Analytics and crash reporting — to maintain product quality.
14 — UseHow We Use Your Data.
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide personalized interview coaching, feedback, and readiness scoring.
- Surface evidence-based recommendations tied to your resume and target role.
- Maintain your progress, session history, and account.
- Improve Fynn AI's coaching quality through aggregated, anonymized analysis.
- Communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Service.
We do not use your resume, transcripts, or interview content for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.
15 — RetentionData Retention.
We retain your account information and Content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a specific session, recording, or resume, it is removed from your active account and purged from backups within 30 days.
If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (for example, billing records).
16 — SecurityData Security.
We protect your data with industry-standard safeguards:
- TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit.
- AES-256 encryption at rest for resumes, recordings, and transcripts.
- Role-based access controls; production data access is limited and audited.
- Automated dependency, secret, and vulnerability scanning.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
17 — SharingData Sharing.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party processors listed above, or when required by law (such as a valid subpoena or court order).
We will never share your resume, transcripts, or recordings with employers, recruiters, or other Fynn AI users.
18 — RightsYour Rights.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate information.
- Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Permanently delete your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

19 — DeletionData Deletion.
You can permanently delete your Fynn AI account and all associated data at any time. See the Delete Account page for step-by-step instructions, or email support@fynn-ai.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
20 — ChildrenChildren's Privacy.
Fynn AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@fynn-ai.com and we will delete it.
21 — UpdatesPolicy Updates.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-product before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
